ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The mission of the LUCKY DOG LOUNGE is to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating
social environment for pets while you are away. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other
guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations.
- All pets must be 3 months of age
or older.
- All pets 9 months or older must be spayed or neutered. (Certain exceptions
may apply. Females in season will not be able to attend daycare.)
- All pets must
have up-to-date vaccinations. See requirements below…
- FOR DOGS: Owners must provide proof of vaccination, along with a negative heartworm and fecal
test. The canine vaccines required are DHLPPV (distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvovirus),
Rabies, and Bordetella every 6 -12 months. If a dog has a medical reason for not having vaccines, they
will have to be approved by the manager before coming to LUCKY DOG LOUNGE.
- FOR
CATS: Owners must provide proof of vaccination, negative FeLV/FIV and fecal tests. The feline vaccines
required are FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and Panleukopenia) and Rabies. If a cat has
a medical reason for not having vaccines, they will have to be approved by the manager before coming to LUCKY DOG LOUNGE.
We will not accept cats who are FeLV or FIV positive.
- An Effective flea/tick preventative
is recommended between April and December. LUCKY DOG LOUNGE is not responsible if your pet contracts fleas.
- Owners
must certify their pet is in good health and has not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days.
Upon admission, all pets must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests.
Pets that have been ill with a communicable condition the last 30 days will be required to provide veterinarian certification
of health to be admitted or re-admitted.
- All pets must be non-aggressive and neither food nor
toy protective. Owners must certify that their pet has neither harmed nor shown any aggressive or threatening
behavior towards any person or other animal.
Please remember that your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety of all animals is our main concern.
