More New Pups join the Lounge!

Okay, Okay...again it's been way too long since my last blog. So many new dogs have joined the pack!! I've been so excited to see more wagging tails and wet noses around here.

Some New Mugs at the Lucky Dog Lounge!

Lucky Dog Lounge's new "Regulars"!

So it has been quite some time since I have updated my "blog". It seems there is just not enough time in the day to do what I set out to do. The reason??...the dogs are just too much fun to hang around with! I start a project and really set my mind to getting it completed, but it always happens... In no time at all I have a tennis ball dropped at my feet and a sweet eager to play face begging me to get out there and throw it!

We have some new Daycare Dogs here at the "Lounge". Great additions!

""BAILEY" is a beautiful Shepherd mix about 11 months old. Every time I see her she seems to grow an inch. She's got lots of spunk and tears around the yard at top speed. She plays with just about every dog and they all totally love her.

"CLOVER" & "GLORY" are sisters (not littermates though). Clover is a small black Lab mix and Glory is a Golden Retriever. They're quite a team, absolutely adore each other, and run and play like there's no tomorrow! Their Mom is Stacy and she is now one of my part time employees. She does a fantastic job and I am lucky to have her help.

"MURPHY" is a Lab/Schnauzer mix. What a character! He started out here as a boarder and now comes 5-6 days a week. The reason for his regular patronage is due to the fact that his Dad, a former evening DJ on 99X, changed jobs and began working in the daytime. Murph was left alone and managed within days to rip up his house and jump through their bedroom window breaking the glass, not once but twice. His second stuntman episode cut his leg. Soon I received a call from his parents letting me know Murph would now be a "regular" at daycare!! Every day he's here wiggling his whole body and goofing around with all the dogs. At night when his Mom picks him up he grabs his leash and walks himself to the car.

"PRECIOUS" is a Beagle mix. Her name suits her perfectly! She started out a bit shy but

has quickly blossomed into a curious pup who loves to greet each one of her friends when she comes for her play day. She has the best smile the most beautiful coloring and the softest fur. These qualities must account for the fact that she has many boyfriends here!

"BELLE" & "ZOE" just joined the pack. They are littermates and the most adorable Beagles ever! They, like Precious, were shy at first, but that didn't last long. When their Mom brings them they run to the front gate and can't wait to get in and start playing. They're most always together and when they decide to take a nap they always choose the top of the couch and position themselves in perfect unison.

"REGIS" is also a brand new addition. He is a 3 month old Shih Tzu. Everyone who comes

in here has said they want to bring him home with them. He's just a tiny little mite but that has not stopped him from meeting a greeting both large & small dogs. He's very brave and truly does not know his size... he weighs just 4 lbs! He's just started to learn how to bark and play. It is a riot to watch him!

Spring is Here!

Hi Everyone!

Spring has finally arrived and so I wanted to take this time to remind everyone of the importance of yearly check-ups for your beloved friend with his/her veterinarian.

Flea, tick and heartworm prevention for your furry friend are crucial this time of year as animals spend more and more time outdoors. Keep them safe and healthy with regular check-ups and keeping up to date with all their vaccinations. They'll thank you for it!

New Friends at Doggy Daycare!

I'd like to welcome our new dogs to our Doggy Daycare! All the new dogs have fit right in and the previous Lounge regulars have enjoyed the new company immensely!

"Teagan" is a beautiful white Husky Shepherd mix and was recently adopted by her Mom Christine. She is shy at first when coming in to the group on Tuesdays & Thursdays but quickly gets into the swing of things and begins racing around at top speed!

"Samson" and "Limo" are brothers whose Mom Melissa works nearby at Tip Top Poultry. "Samson" is 7 months old and a gorgeous Black Lab full of spunk and so well behaved for such a youngster. "Limo", short for "Limousine", is almost 6 years old. He is a noble Basset Hound and enjoys touring the grounds and laying out in the sun. They come every day, Monday - Friday.
